Would you like to have an online assistant to calculate the sample size of a study at a very reasonable price?
Every biomedical research project protocol requires an accurate estimation of the number of individuals to be recruited in order to conclusively address the study’s objectives. We are developing a MULTI-LANGUAGE assistant to help researchers calculate the sample size based on GRANMO. This assistant is designed for research personnel who need an agile and user-friendly tool to calculate sample sizes. It includes most biomedical research designs (cohort studies, case-control studies, population estimation, cross-sectional studies, etc.), with continuous or categorical data and effect size estimations of factors such as odds ratio, relative risk, etc. This system is interactive and operates with an algorithm that asks easy and intuitive questions. Based on the answers, it provides a text like this one, which can be incorporated into your research project with minimal modifications: ‘Accepting an alpha risk of 0.05 and a statistical power greater than 0.8 in a bilateral contrast, 11 subjects are needed in group 1 and 11 in group 2 to detect a difference equal to or greater than 0.3 units. It is assumed that the common standard deviation is 0.25. A follow-up loss rate of 0% has been estimated.
Would you like to have an online assistant to write the materials and methods section of your research project?
For a research project, writing the materials and methods section correctly and precisely is critical in any funding application. We are developing a MULTI-LANGUAGE assistant that generates a materials and methods section based on a form. By filling in a minimal amount of data, you will receive a text with details on the design, measurements, proposed statistical analysis, sample, and data management plan proposal. Our algorithm is developed by research experts and is adaptable with minimal modifications to most national and international biomedical research project calls.
